When we sat down with the very first Alpha version of Magento in late 2007 we fell in love instantly. Having working with other Open Source-based ecommerce solutions like OsCommerce, the ZenCart-fork, VirtueMart and a number of others for years, and being more and more frustrated over the lack of progress in these projects, the transition to Magento was a relief, even though Magento has had a though ladder to climb to get where it stands today.

We all know Magento has had all its flaws and issues in the past years, but to us that has been more positive than negative, as we've gained so much experience around the system working and debugging on all these issues that we today feel we know Magento as our own pocket.
