Customize footer

You can customize any part of the footer section in our SilverFramework Magento theme. See the number in the screenshot and the corresponding instructions below to make the required modifications to your footer.

1) Modify the footer text

To modify the general footer text go to your Magento Admin -> SilverFramework -> Settings -> Footer, and type in the content you would like. Any HTML is allowed in this field.

2) Add, remove or modify the footer logos

To customize the footer you will need to modify the footer.phtml file in the theme package:

“app/design/frontend/silver/THEMENAME/template/page/html/footer.phtml”.

3) Modify the Copyright statement

Go to Magento Admin -> Settings -> Configuration -> Design, and modify the Copyright text.

4) Modify the Newsletter box

Modifying the Newsletter box requires changes in other template- and XML layout files outside of the SilverFramework module. Please refer to the Magento forums for more information around this.
